We have so many updates and prayer requests for you. Let’s just jump right in to them!
First of all , if you haven’t heard the news yet...We Are Pregnant! Yay! This came as a huge shock to us as we were just entering into all the preparations for our first adoption. However, we have been filled with so much joy and anticipation for our little arrival! Many have asked
questions as to if we are still going to adopt, and our answer is yes! Just not at this current time. The Lord doesn’t put more on us than we can bear… We do! So we decided to step back and pray about what to do in this season. My first doctor’s appointment is coming up, so we are praying for a healthy, good report on baby #2.
Second...as if that wasn’t big enough! We are headed to Turkey! April 4-12 Josh and Alice will be in Turkey for a 3 day conference that will be ministering to missionaries in the Middle East. All of these “workers” will be gathering for a 3 day prayer conference where they will cry out for Israel and the Muslim nations. We will be teaching prayer and worship to the children of these “workers,” ages 6-18. Our flight and accommodations have been paid for but there are still other costs that we will be needing to cover. Emma will be staying behind in the states with her grandparents, just in case you were wondering. You can follow our Turkey trip and the relevance of modern day Turkey to the Christian believer on Josh’s blog, listed below.
Here is a list of prayer requests and current needs of our family. We present these to you as our partners in this ministry. We want you to know where your donations are going and what they are being used for.
1. Our pregnancy! - we pray for a healthy child, Alice’s health, and favor with finances
2. Our trip to Turkey - We will need close to $800 for the entire trip. This is where all
donations and seed offerings are going as of now.
3. Our house in Jackson - We need it to sell! Please pray for our realtor and the property. This is a HUGE financial strain on us right now.
4. Josh’s business - Favor, diligence, grace. This is our main source of income.

Prayer requests
So I thought I would post some prayer requests for my friends to join in agreement with us:
1. We need our home in Jackson to sell! This is at the top of our list. It is a financial burden each month and always lingering in our minds.
2. Our trip to Turkey. Pray for safety in travel. We are needing a few more finances but mostly please pray for strength for me as I will be 10 weeks pregnant.
3. Favor with Josh's business. He has had some amazing opportunities lately that could really be monumental! But we need wisdom, favor, creative ideas, and discernment to walk through these doors.
4. Emma. Please pray for her while Josh and I are in Turkey. She will be visiting all of her grandparents in MS and AL so she will definitely be loved on. But pray for her protection as she travels too.
5. Curtain Call. I need God to touch my mind and imagination to create the new script for Curtain Call this year. Pray for the core team, volunteers, and those who will give this year. Also pray for the children that will attend and the families that will be impacted because of their child's experience at CC.
Thank you for your prayers!

One Extreme To Another
So we started the Daniel Fast and eating naturally all in one week. Talk about a body detox. I was so sick of veggies by day 3 I felt like I was going to puke. But then again that feeling was staying with me all day...
Oh my goodness! The thought hit me. So I went to Wal-Mart with my mom and I hid a pregnancy test in the cart. As soon as we got home, I didn't hesitate. I ran to the bathroom and less than one minute later, I found out we were having a baby!
We are completely thrilled by the news and called some of our dearest and closet friends as well as family to share the news with them. And we kept getting the same questions. So I thought I would take a second and answer some of the ones that we got.
1. What do you think it will be? To be honest we don't care! Just as long as he/she is healthy. But I know that is the typical answer so here is one that is just ours. We are not going to find out until the baby is born! What a surprise!
2. What about the adoption? Well we are not too clear as to what to do yet. I have put a phone call and email in to our social worker so we are waiting to see what her advice will be.
3. Are you still going to Turkey? Yes! My first doctor's appointment is this Monday, march 22 and I will get the go-ahead from her. But as far as we know, I am still going.
If there are any other questions, please ask away. The answer may be "I don't know" but at least I know Who holds our future!
God Bless!

Daniel Fast Called March 1-April 9
A casual approach to fasting will often lead to casualties of war. From 1984-to present day, only 4% of people call themselves born again Bible believing Christians.
From 1924-1964, 35% called themselves Christians. This percentage is now in leadership in our country, educational systems, government. What have they produced in our country? Pornagraphy, legalized abortion on demand, homosexual marriages, sex trafficking, and more. What will 4% produce? We are in desperate need of a move of God.
There is 16 million college students in this nation. Only 4% are Bible believing Christians. Terrifying. So we are entering in to a 40 day season of a Daniel Fast as a believing community for college students.
In the Boston area, there are more colleges per square mile than any other city in the nation! So Lou Engle and his staff and all of our 3rd and 4th year IHOPU students will be ministering in the New England states throughout the fast and it will end on April 9th with a huge conference for college students in America.
Revelations 7:10 - Salvation now belongs to our God!
We are engaging for a great awakening that leads to a great commissioning!

In Her Daddy's Socks
Here is Emma Carleigh in her daddy's socks. My prayer is that one day she will follow in her Father's shoes. But for now, I'm so content to have her wear her earthly father's socks. I just read this quote this morning on my friend Kellye's blog. She quoted her friend Lisa Jo (just want to cite this quote right because it's so good).
"What I want to grasp between desperate fingers is as elusive as hour glass quick sand.
I cannot hold them always. I cannot protect them completely. I cannot fulfill them thoroughly.
Security lies only in surrender to the One who can."
In Jesus name I pray.

What day is this?
So I just want to blog this and get it out of the way. I have been living this whole week a day behind! And I'm not talking about that feeling that it's one but in your mind you know what day it actually is you just don't want to admit it.
No really, a WHOLE day behind. I have missed appointments, been in argument after argument with my husband, been frustrated when tv shows aren't on and everything!
Pray for me. I will recover.
